Our beginning

Where engineering met the countryside.

Our story began on a small farm in northern Bahia, where a chemical engineer's technical background met the rhythm of bees, native plants, and family-scale production.

What started with an apiary, mead, and handcrafted bee products became a larger mission: give international customers access to Brazilian propolis and bee products with clear origin and responsible handling.

We are not a faceless catalog. Wild Roots was built from direct contact with the field: visiting producers, understanding harvest conditions, learning how each region influences color, aroma, resin texture, and the character of every bee product.

Our work is guided by a simple idea: natural products should not lose their story when they cross borders. Customers should know where the product comes from, why it is special, and who stands behind it.

How we work

From apiary to shipment, each step has a reason.

01

Selection

We work with our own production and trusted beekeepers from regions known for distinctive propolis and bee products. Each source is evaluated by origin, product condition, producer reliability, and consistency over time.

02

Handling

Products are handled with practical field knowledge and technical criteria for freshness, identity, and consistency. We care about preserving the natural profile of the material instead of treating it like a generic commodity.

03

Traceability

Each order is prepared with attention to documentation, product detail, and the origin story behind the material. This helps buyers understand what they are receiving and why Brazilian bee products have such unique value.

What matters to us

Quality is not only about appearance.

For us, quality begins before a product is packed. It begins with the environment where bees collect resins and nectar, the way the beekeeper handles the material, the time between harvest and preparation, and the honesty of the information shared with the customer.

Because bee products are natural, they can vary from batch to batch. We see that variation as part of their identity, not as a problem to hide. Our role is to communicate clearly, select carefully, and avoid shortcuts that would weaken the connection between product and origin.

Natural Brazilian bee products

A wider network

Built with producers who understand the land.

As demand grew, our network expanded through partner beekeepers across Brazil. Each producer brings a different landscape, flora, and type of bee product. Together, they help us deliver what one single apiary could not supply alone.

These partnerships also help us value small producers. Many excellent Brazilian beekeepers have deep knowledge and exceptional products, but limited access to international customers. Wild Roots works as a bridge between that local expertise and buyers looking for authentic Brazilian origin.

  • Own apiary production
  • Selected partner beekeepers
  • Technical and scientific perspective
  • Commitment to transparency and responsibility

"Why shouldn't products this rare, valuable, and uniquely Brazilian reach customers in other countries?"

What we carry

More than natural products, we ship trust and origin.

Every order carries the work of Brazilian producers, the richness of native biodiversity, and the care required to connect the countryside to customers around the world.

We want customers to feel confident not only about what they are buying, but about the path that product traveled. That is why we keep improving our sourcing, communication, packing, and fulfillment with every new shipment.

Wild Roots is still being written with each harvest, each partnership, and each person who chooses to support Brazilian beekeeping.
